# Baldrian

**Bei den Baldrian Produkten wird gerne gemogelt!** Ein gutes Beispiel ist Klosterfrau, dort wurde das "Baldrian Forte 600" durch das "Baldrian Forte 1220" ersetzt, jedoch hat sich der Wirkstoffgehalt von 2700 mg auf 1200 mg (bzw. 600 mg auf 270 mg Trockenextrakt) reduziert. Das macht bei gleichem Preis, eine Steigerung von über 100% aus!

# Arachidonsäuregehalte tierischer Lebensmittel

> Arachidonsäure gehört zu den Omega-6-Fettsäuren und ist ausschließlich in tierischen Lebensmitteln zu finden. Sie fördert Entzündungen, weil aus ihr entzündungsfördernde Botenstoffe, so genannte Thromboxane, Prostaglandine, Prostacycline und Leukotriene gebildet werden.  
> Je fettreicher ein tierisches Lebensmittel ist, desto mehr Arachidonsäure ist im Allgemeinen enthalten.  
> Patientinnen und Patienten mit Rheuma sollten im Idealfall nicht mehr als 50 mg Arachidonsäure pro Tag zu sich nehmen.  
> Die natürliche Gegenspielerin der Arachidonsäure ist die Eicosapentaensäure, eine Omega-3-Fettsäure. Sie hat sogar eine indirekte entzündungshemmende Wirkung.
